Behave, court warns Kambwili
By OLIVER SAMBOKO NDC leader Chishimba Kambwili was yesterday warned to stop misconduct- ing himself in the matter he is facing three counts of forgery, uttering a false doc- ument and giving false infor- mation or risk being cited for contempt. This was after Chief State Advocate Margaret Chitundu raised concerns to Principal Magistrate David Simusamba over Kambwili’s conduct.  Kambwili is facing three counts of forgery, uttering a false document and giving false information to a public officer in respect to incorpora- tion of Mwamona Engineering Technical Services Limited.  Recently, Kambwili burst into rage inside the court- room at the Lusaka Magistrate court and verbally abused Ms Chitundu for objecting to de- fence lawyer’s application for an adjournment.  Magistrate Simusamba warned Kambwili against mis- conducting himself because if he continues, he was going to be cited for contempt. “You are an honorable person and I want to treat you as such. But if you continue conduct- ing yourself in a dishonorable manner, you will be cited for contempt of court,” warned Mr Simusamba. After the matter was adjourned again yester- day, Ms Chitundu asked the court to warn Kambwili and his supporters to stop issuing threats against the prosecu- tion, stating the matter before the court was not a personal issue but that the prosecutors were just simply carrying out their duties.
