MUKWIMA CHILALA writes ZANACO Football Club General Manager Marlon Kananda has tipped Zambia’s envoys in continental competitions of a good performance. With his club having missed out on a slot for continental competitions Kananda has congratulated all the four teams that made the cut and was hopeful that they will do well in the respective competitions. Nkana and runners up Forest Rangers have qualified for the CAF Champions League while Green Eagles and Napsa Stars who finished third and fourth respectively have secured CAF Confederation Cup berths. Kananda noted that Napsa Stars and Rangers have come up very well and was hopeful that they would with the same spirit in the CAF competition. He further notes that Eagles have also been consistent for the last three seasons in qualifying for CAF and hopeful hope that they go with the same fighting spirit into the competition. The Zanaco Football Club General Manager says that with Nkana having participated in CAF Champions League on a number of times he expect them to do well because Zambia needs the four slots in CAF and was   all about them representing Zambia. “Napsa Stars and Forest Rangers have come up very well and we hope that they go with the same spirit in the CAF competition. Green Eagles have also been consistent for the last three seasons in qualifying for CAF we also hope that they go with the same fighting spirit into the competition,” said Kananda “Nkana has participated in CAF Champions League on a number of times and we expect them to do well because Zambia needs the four slots in CAF. It is all about them representing Zambia. We wish them all the best.” The 2019 /20 FAZ/MTN Super League season came to an end on Sunday with Nkana crowned champions for a record extending 13th time after they finished first with 50 points tied with second placed Forest Rangers but with a better goal difference.
