SUN SPORTS writes WITH over six months since the Premier Futsal League was declared null and void due to the Covid-19 pandemic, 2020 Premier Futsal League season kicks off tomorrow with intriguing fixtures lined up for the first round of games to be played at Automotive Futsal Arena. Previously dubbed the Wildcat PFL prior to the Covid-19 pandemic shut down, the new league will see teams being rebranded with names of different Zambian towns. The league which will see new comers’ in Zanaco Futsal Club who will compete in the national division one league will be sponsored by Automotive Auto Spares who have invested about K80,000 in the league. Automotive FC chairman Tarak Mehta confirmed that Automotive Auto Spares will sponsor this season’s futsal league after Wildcat pulled out from sponsoring the league. The futsal league kicks off tomorrow with Livingstone Pirates Futsal Club facing Chipata boys and Mehta is confident that the games will be played in a safe environment as all safety measures had been put in place. Mehta is anticipating a lot of competition this year because super division teams will be getting paid every month by the PFL, a situation which will motivate division one teams to fight to win promotion the Super league On Saturday the PFL action will see Kitwe Bullets taking on MonzeGeorge while LSK Automotive FC will Siavonga Beetles. DS Isoka Futsal Club will face Kafue Saints with Kabwe KLinetaking on CSS Petakue Futsal Club while national division action will see Efford Chabala Futsal Club facing Christian Academy while Pioneer Avangers will host Veterans Futsal Club. New comers Zanaco will play DS Academy while Bil FC have an intriguing fixture against Blue Bombers with Tamanga and LilandaBullets will face AJ United and BS Stars respectively. The Sun
