SUN SPORTS writes@SunZambianAUTOMOTIVE, the Premier Futsal League (PFL) defending champions opened a three-points lead at the summit of the 10-team PFL league table after edging Kitwe Bullets 3-2 in a week five fixture played over the weekend.The victory over Kitwe Bullets who suffered their second defeat of the season protected Auto’s unbeaten record after round four of matches played at the Automotive Futsal Arena.The win cheered Italian coach Andrea Christoforetti after his team propelled to 15 points, three points ahead of DS Isoka who are second on 12 points.Meanwhile, Monze George shot to sixth on the league table after picking their second win of the season following the 6-0 thumping of Livingstone Pirates.It was a big relief for coach Witson Nyirenda who recorded a disappointing 9-2 defeat to DS Isoka in their previous fixture before the win against Pirates.Meanwhile, struggling CSS Petauke continue to search for their first win after being humiliated 9-2 by DS Isoka who moved to second position with 12 points.In other fixtures played over the weekend, Chipata Boys recorded their second consecutive defeat, losing 5-3 to Kabwe K-Line who are third on the league table with 12 points, on par with Isoka who have a better goal difference of 11 goals compared to Kabwe’s 8-goals.Siavonga Beetles picked their second consecutive win after beating Kafue Saints 5-1 and moved to seventh with six points.In the National Division One league, Zanaco overcame Lilanda Bullets 6-4 to maintain top position in the lower futsal league with 15 points while second-placed Pioneer Avengers beat Tamanga Juldan 5-2 on Sunday.Christian Academy humbled Blue Bombers 15-2 as BS Stars whitewashed AJ United 6-0.DS Academy and Bil FC were also triumphant, beating Efford Chabala and Veterans FC 12-3 and 4-2 respectively.
