ZAMBIA’S ambassador to Germany Anthony Mukwita’s mother Mrs Elizabeth Mukwita has died aged 75 years.
According to Mr Mukwita, his mother died in her sleep on Saturday, December 19 just about half an hour after midnight after complaining of a short illness in Lusaka.
He said the late Mrs Mukwita travelled from Livingstone to visit her children from Livingstone.
According to Mr Mukwita, his mother’s death comes barely a year after her mother Regina Kabukabu Mwangana died aged 95 in Lusaka.
He said the funeral was being held at her daughters house in Lilayi Secondary School while the requiem mass will be conducted at Mary Immaculate Parish on Thursday 24th December 2020.
“The mass will be conducted by the Fr Superior, his reverend Vincent Sakala at 9 o’clock in the morning of Christmas Eve while burial is set for Memorial Park in Lusaka hopefully next to her mother’s grave who died at 95 last year,” he said.
