2 men hacked to death In Kabwe

KETRA KALUNGA Writes@SunZambianTWO men of Kabwe district have been brutally murdered by unknown criminals after being hit with un-known objects.The deceased identified as Francis Chabu 46 and Samuel Sikaona 26 were murdered around 04:00 hours in the Makandanyama area.The Central province police commissioner, Chola Katanga who confirmed the murder said the criminals attacked Mr. Chabu in his garage as they tried to steal.Mr. Katanga said the other victim, Samuel was attacked as he tried to rescue Mr. Chuba who shouted for help and was in the process murdered.He said Mr. Chabu, a businessman of Bwacha Township sustained two cuts on the navel and one cut on the left side of the chest.The police boss said Samuel, a barber man of Kasanda mine township sustained four cuts on the left side of his chest, two on the right side, and one on the right arm. Unknown instruments are alleged to have been used in the Act.“We received a murder case from Mwansa Musonda aged 47 of an unmarked house in Shamabanse com-pound, Kabwe who reported that unknown criminals had murdered two male persons namely Francis Cha-bu and Samuel Sikaona,” he said.Mr. Katanga said police rushed to the scene of the crime where they confirmed the murder of Mr. Chabu and Samuel and one iron bar was found near the body of Samuel.The two bodies have since been deposited at Kabwe Central Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
